We travelled to not so sunny Blackpool for this Bridget Bardot inspired fashion story. Our siren was Lucy McCadden-Forrest who performed amazingly in the freezing conditions. It was a fun day out which involved a near incident with a wannabe dog model (sorry about that Lucy!) and some chip hungry seagulls!

Minty Fresh!

Some shots from a recent test with Helen Kirkbright and new face at Boss - Victoria Hulme who is the cutest 16 year old around and a pleasure to work with.
The garments for this shoot were on loan from two recent and very talented Fashion graduates from MMU, Rebecca Danko (first two shots) and Hayley Lomax (bottom two). Big thanks to them and also to Rebecca Anderton for beautiful hair and make up as usual.

An Apparition

Pics from a shoot with the beautiful Rona, we went all religious taking inspiration from Joan of Arc and Our Lady who has always been a bit of a fashion icon in my opinion! We were again up against the elements and a particularly difficult headress - made with a net curtain (thanks Mum).

An English Country Garden

As featured on VOGUE ITALIA!!!!!! Yes I am never going to get over that, here is the full shoot with the beautiful Tanya Beetham. I really wanted to use the rest of John Earnshaw's graduate collection and so Xanthe and i decided that somewhere with lavender would be perfect. Harlow Marr gardens in Harrogate were still in full bloom and had some amazing back drops which really compliment the colours in John's garments. I also got crafty making the feather skirt, horn headware, neck piece and sewing pencil cases and attaching feather dusters! Everyone was a trooper on the day braving thunder and lightning to get the shots.

Hanging out with Helen and Heather

These are the results of a fun shoot with Helen Kirkbright and Heather Nelson from Boss models. Helen is starting a Models At Home series, we used my house for the first attempt and I was very happy to be able to just nip upstairs to get the outfits together as opposed to lugging my stuff around like the fashion packhorse I am :) I love the shots and had a great time hanging out with Helen and Heather.
