I was excited to be asked to style the AW look book for Luxury accessory brand Liliyang London. The brief was fairytale and the setting - a woods full of bluebells on a rainy day in the Kent countryside. I loaned garments from designer Julie Yeung who was selected by VOGUE Italia as a New Talent in October 2011, 'Julie Yeung is a luxury womenswear designer who constantly seeks to fuse haute couture craftsmanship with modern innovation to achieve a contemporary and refined aesthetic within her designs.' I knew that the beautiful jewel colored silks Julie used and the elegant cut of the clothing would be a perfect backdrop to the luxuriousness of the Liliyang bags. The yellow dress also reminded me of Snow White and the red hooded outfit made our model Asa into a high fashion red riding hood.
